Television 4 Honors @ Raritan HS

Maya Acevedo - Senior
Maya Acevedo is a senior at Raritan High School. She has been through TV1, TV2, and is in TV Broadcasting and TV4 Honors. Maya has been apart of multiple TV4 trips and events while within TV2. Her love for film blossomed in the fifth grade in her cousins basement. Every time they were together, she would record skits and videos (they were terribly improvised), but from here on out she has known that she wants to pursue film and TV as a career. Throughout these eight years, Maya has been creating stories like a mad man who will die if she stops. She loves it though. She loves it so much that she tries to incorporate it in anything she can. It’s her main source of motivation. When she found out the school had a Global Communications Club she went to the first meeting she could. Now Maya has been in Global for three years. Through this experience she has started and is now directing a podcast in her Diversity and Racial Justice Clubs called, “Jabbering for Justice.” Over her two years in all of the TV classes, she has won various awards. Includes but not limited to, Best TV 1 and 2 Student, Best Holiday Segment out of all TV2 and TV3 classes. As well as won third place in the FilmOne Fest 24 Hour Challenge in June 2022 with a two minute short film named, “Dear Marcie,” Maya cannot wait to fill her portfolio with new videos that she is immensely proud of.

Salvatore Agosta - Senior
Salvatore Agosta is a senior at Raritan High school. He has completed TV1, TV2, TV3, and is now onto TV4. He has always had a passion for video making and editing. He loves to watch his projects and thoughts come to life when his final product is complete. Sal enjoys showing his family and friends his work, and loves to make them laugh.

Alexis Amoedo - Senior
Alexis Amoedo is a senior at Raritan High School. This is her second year of TV4 after taking both TV1 and TV2 in her freshman and sophomore years of high school. She has won several TV awards including multiple Best Music Video Actress Awards (twice) and multiple other awards with her group projects. Alexis loves learning new things when it comes to being both on and off the camera. Creating ideas in her head and having the passion to execute them to the best of her ability. TV has opened up a new possibility of ideas for her as the years go on and many friendships. She has a bright personality and wishes to continue to college studying marine biology. Participating in several other activities including volleyball, track, and girl's flag football Alexis loves being active outside of school!

Jake Corby - Senior
Jake Corby is a senior at Raritan High School. This is his first year in TV4. Previously he had completed TV1, TV2, and TV3. In 2022 he won the award for best TV2 Advertisement at the Rocket TV Awards. He is excited to continue working and improving on his craft of video production while making new and better projects this upcoming year. Outside of TV classes he is involved as a distance runner for the school’s cross country and track teams. He has learned hard work and dedication to a craft while running and takes these lessons and applies them to his video making process.

Jayden Craft - Senior
Jayden Craft is a Senior at Raritan High School. He is a 3 sport athlete at the varsity level. He does Football, Track, and Basketball. In his free time, he likes to fish, golf, watch movies, and hangout with friends. Jayden Is in TV4 because he enjoys the environment of other students coming up with other creative ideas for a film. Jayden is good at editing films, he also can act. Jayden is a Senior and this is his second year in TV4.

Jenna Cupo - Junior
Jenna Cupo is in her junior year at Raritan High School! She has taken TV1, TV2, and this is her first year in TV4 Honors. She’s been interested in TV production since her freshman year, and continues to take the class until her senior year! She enjoys editing projects, connecting with her classmates, and showing off her hard-work to both her family and friends! Jenna also participates on both the varsity cheer and track team at Raritan High School, along with being in the TV program.

Kelly Donnelly - Senior
Kelly is a senior at Raritan High School. This is her first year in TV4 Honors. It is also her second year in TV Broadcasting. She has taken TV1, TV2, TV3, and TV Broadcasting. Over the years, she’s won various awards including the Global Techie award (x2), Best TV3 Student, and Best A-Day Broadcasting Student. Ever since her freshman year TV1, she has known that TV was what she wanted to study in college and spent her entire life doing. Her enjoyment of the subject has continued to grow over the courses she’s taken and she’s looking forward to experimenting with new film ideas this year. Along with this, Kelly’s involvement in Global Communications outside of school has helped her love Broadcasting more than she could have imagined. She’s put countless hours inside and outside of school towards the TV program, and plans to add to that count this year.

Jack Downey - Senior
Jack Downey is a senior attending Raritan High School. This will be his second year taking Television Production 4, and he is looking forward to making many more great films this year. He has previously won awards for screenwriting and acting at the Rocket TV Awards. Outside of the regular school day, he is involved in Cross Country, and the Drama Program. One of his aims this year in TV Productions is to improve his skills in the art of stop motion. He can’t wait to spend his last year in high school producing the best films yet with his friends.

Ryan Ferruggiaro - Senior
Ryan is a senior at Raritan High School, and this is his first year taking TV 4 Honors. He has taken classes TV1, TV2, and TV3. He loves working with music and always being active. Making projects the highest quality they can possibly be is his number one priority. He hopes to improve his TV production skills and make fun projects along the way.

Sabrina Floriano - Junior
Sabrina Floriano is a Junior at Raritan High School. This is her first year in TV4. She also completed TV1, TV2, and TV Broadcasting in her freshman and sophomore years. She has always loved making videos ever since she was little. She enjoys making and editing videos and then sharing the final product with her family and friends. When she graduates, she wants to go to college for sports marketing; make videos and take pictures for sports teams. Sabrina also participates in volleyball for Raritan High School along with the TV program.

Elizabeth Fogarty - Junior
Elizabeth Fogarty is a Junior at Raritan High School. This is her first year in TV 4 honors. She has been in the TV Program since Freshman year.

Anthony Gin - Senior
Anthony Gin is a Senior at Raritan High school, he is an active member of Raritan High School’s Band, Wrestling team, and Tennis team. This will be his first year of TV4 Honors after completing TV1 as a freshman and then having 2 years of making segments for TV broadcasting as a sophomore and senior. Anthony has won 2 consecutive best morning show segment awards. Anthony has previously made over 50 segments for TV broadcasting and his ability to make a segment out of anything is his strong suit. Anthony has made promotions before, one being for the wrestling team (CLICK HERE). Last, Anthony is just happy to be on TV, and he is open to making anything for anyone.

Braden Heck - Junior
Braden is a high school junior who has taken TV 1, TV 2 and currently TV 4. Not only does he put passion and care into all of his projects no matter the severity, but he also looks to better himself after each film taking in all the criticism and using it to his advantage.

John Henry - Senior
John is a senior at Raritan High School. He has been in TV Production for four years, completing TV 1, TV 2, and TV 3. He is currently in TV 4 Honors. Growing up, he always enjoyed making videos with friends. His passion for filmmaking has carried with him over the years, and he loves collaborating with friends who have the same interests in film as he does. John’s favorite part of production is editing, because that’s where the project truly comes to life. He is excited to continue film in the future, and he takes a lot of pride in his work.

Matthew Lombardo - Junior
Matthew Lombardo is an ambitious TV production student excited to take TV4. He took TV1 his freshman year and TV2 his sophomore year. This year he wants to focus on making better content through his camera skills and editing. He is dedicated to the TV production program and will go to great lengths to make excellent projects. Overall, Matthew hopes to have a great year and to make more amazing videos to share.

Liam McGinn - Senior
Liam is a senior at Raritan High School. He is a TV4 Honors Student, who has a past in TV1 and TV2. He is also the captain of the boys varsity soccer team. Liam is a hardworking student that won’t stop working until his project is as good as possible. This year he hopes to make videos with friends, improve his acting skills, and take home the most Rocket TV Awards.

Matthew Melendez - Junior
Matt “Melo” Melendez is a Junior at Raritan High School. He has taken TV1 and TV2, he is currently in TV4 honors. He enjoys making projects with his friends, and TV production is his favorite class. Him and his group won the best TV2 short film award for their film “Ragtag.”

John Molnar - Senior
Johnny is a senior at Raritan High School. It is also his first year in the TV4 Program. He previously had taken TV1, TV2, and TV3. He also played football for Raritan, and baseball for the varsity team. Johnny likes to watch movies and TV shows, which is where he was interested in the program. He hopes to continue to get better in TV Production, and win more awards this upcoming year.

Joey Pereira - Senior
Joey is a senior in Raritan High School. He has completed TV1 freshmen year, TV2 sophomore year, and also had TV4 Honors his junior year. He loves to work on the camera but will also act for the films. His favorite films to make are music videos and horror films. Joey participates in a couple different sports and clubs for raritan. He plays soccer and pole vault for track. He is also in the world language club.

Richard Peterman - Senior
Richard Peterman is a Senior at Raritan High School. He has been in the TV Program all four years of his High School Career. Last year he won the Rocket TV Award for Best Commercial in 2023.

Aidan Scarola - Senior
Aidan Scarola is a senior in highschool. He has taken TV1, TV2, TV3 and TV Broadcasting all through high school and is currently in TV 4 Honors. He has loved the process of film making ever since he started TV and wants to pursue it in College.

Alyssa Scudieri - Senior
Alyssa Scudieri is a senior at Raritan High School. This is their second year of TV4 Honors. They have also completed TV Broadcasting, TV1 and TV2 in freshmen and sophomore year. They are also involved in the Global Communications Club. They have won many awards in the past years and they strive to win more. They are an artist who wanted to explore other mediums. However, film then became an important part of their life and it is always on their mind. After high school, they have chosen to continue film making as a career. They are looking forward to what they will create and hope to leave their mark on the TV Production program.

Robert Shaw - Senior
Rob is a Senior at Raritan High School. He has taken TV1, TV2, and is currently taking TV4 Honors and TV Broadcasting. Last year, his group was nominated for Best TV2 Short Film and he won the award for Best TV2 Documentary. This year, he is looking to bring his unique ideas and editing style to another level. He is very excited to take on the challenge of TV4 Honors and to get working on a variety of projects throughout this year.

Jaxon Tsap - Senior
Jaxon Baron Tsap is a senior at RHS. This is his second year in TV4 and has been in TV every year of his highschool career. He plays football and is the president of his class. He hopes to continue to improve and create some great films. has always loved watching movies ever since he was young and appreciates story lines and little details in every movie. This is something he loves and hopes that it stays with him through his future career.

Mia Watterson - Senior
Mia Watterson is a Senior at Raritan High School. This is her second year of TV4 Honors. She completed TV1 her freshman year and TV2 her sophomore year. She really enjoyed her time in TV4 last year so she knew she had to take this class again. Her favorite thing to do is watch TV shows and movies so when she heard this was a class, she jumped at it. She respects the process of making films and loves the thought process that goes into it, so when she heard she got to take this class she was so excited to let her creative ideas come to light with others with similar mindsets. She loves to work hard and with determination, she can get anything done. She is also involved with Raritan's Dance Team and she dances outside of school as well. Dancing has taught her that hard work pays off and it can make a beautiful piece of work.

Cooper Wojtak - Senior
Cooper Wojtak is a senior at Raritan High School. This is his second year of TV4 Honors, previously having completed TV1 in his freshman year, and TV2 in his sophomore year. Movies and television have interested him for a while, and he loved making videos with his friends when he was younger. This was what led him to get involved with and continue being a part of the department. He enjoys working with new people, seeing their process, and helping to make their vision come to life. He is excited to evolve his projects this year, and gain new knowledge from others in this department and through those who are interested in working with him. He hopes to entertain people and to grow as a filmmaker, improving his projects in editing, camerawork, and performance.
